Hi *.=20
First, I'd like to present myself to the list, I'm a DD interested in
mono and I want to help as much as I can to its distribution with
Debian. It seems as a really important thing to me.=20
I'm an alioth member right now in the pkg-mono project, so I will be
able to help directly.
After this, I have been playing with the already done work and I notice
the build-dep of every package in automake (which is already a dummy
package for automake1.4).
I'm building the mono package right now changing the Build-Dep to
automake1.7 and it works fine.
So, the question, is there any reason for using automake instead of
automake1.7?. I know that in the long term, automake should be a dummy
package for automake1.[7-8], but in the meanwhile... almost nobody
remains with it installed.
Regards,
