[Pkg-mono-devel] Trying to compile blam from source

Hi,

I'm running debian sid and am running mono from the standard packages
out of apt. I want to build blam from source (it works fine when I use
the blam .deb package) but I am having a hard time getting it to
configure. This is the error:

checking for pkg-config... (cached) /usr/bin/pkg-config
checking for mono >= 1.1.4
                  gtk-sharp >= 1.0
                  gconf-2.0 >= 2.4... Package mono was not found in
the pkg-config search path. Perhaps you should add the directory
containing `mono.pc' to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable No
package 'mono' found
configure: error: Library requirements (mono >= 1.1.4
                  gtk-sharp >= 1.0
                  gconf-2.0 >= 2.4) not met; consider adjusting the
PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if your libraries are in a
nonstandard prefix so pkg-config can find them.

Clearly there are some dependency issues, but I'm not sure exactly
what the problem is. I think I have all of these packages installed.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Peter
