Hi Matt,
one thing I've read about is the fact that Debian Devs dont like to add
small packages as they say it's 'archive bloat'. That said, I'd be
optimal if you found an existing package that would be able to absorb
your mono/nant code. Mono is not 'essential' in Debian, so I dont think
any main debian packages that work with dpkg would want to add your code
and then add a 'depends' on mono. They just had a person try to add
'python-minimal' to 'essential' and that was quickly knocked out, so mono surely
would not be added. But it may find its way into say some /examples in a
mono package ? or mono-utils ? As I'm not really clued in about the all
the mono stuff, I'm sure someone on this list like 'meebee' would have a
far better idea if there are any good homes for your code. But if there
is not, and you have a desire to add it, you may brave the storm and
submit and ITP (intent to package) or seek a sponsor on debian-mentor
or debian-devel (or maybe someone here).
