Thanks for those links!
After a quick look at configure.ac, I'm having a headache now... (I understand
it, but I'm having difficulties in applying it to my project... which seems
far simpler)

I hope I'll get a reply from him then :)
Besides autotools, after some more googling I've found MBuild, but the project
seems somewhat stalled. I wrote a mail to the author, but I don't really expect
him to reply at all. Has anyone ever used it? I know it's an outdated-abandoned
project, but the idea of a C# build system triggers my curiosity :)
