Mono 2.2 just released (2 hours after your post) and we are in the
middle of a Mono 2.0 library transition, so give us some time to do
work on the packages ;)

PS: if it would be just a matter of building package, it wouldn't cause
us 2 months of work to get proper Mono 2.0 packages.
