[Pkg-mono-devel] Can I use half managed dll as .so in linux ?

Firstly, I want to ask is This

Is the output dll from this process possible to work with Mono on linux ?
(also OSX)
How it can make this work in linux, am I need to do any config ?

Or just change the output dll into .so and it done?

Then if it cannot work, Can you add support to it?
Can you make DLLExportAttribute in C# compiler of Mono ?
for wrapping and export managed function to native world

This feature is really useful for interop with native, make native people
using Mono more smoothly

As for me I want to develop Netscape's plugin with pure C#
I am able to do this in Windows with that CodeProject's link I mention about
But I'm not sure it can work with Mono or not
And I want it tobe natively support if possible
