Indeed. Not that I didn't look or anything: On 
http://pkg-mono.alioth.debian.org/ , it says

> Debian/EXPERIMENTAL Current preview packages of Mono

(besides still linking to svn)

and the "official" repo (as mentioned in the PTS) doesn't seem to 
contain any of this work either.
