[Pkg-mono-devel] Running "sudo apt-get install mono-runtime" on Ubuntu fails

Hi,

while this list is actually intended for discussing the debian packaging 
of mono, I think I can still help you.

It looks as if the repo has received updated (or different) packages 
between the last time you ran "apt-get update" and "apt-get install". So 
my first try would be to refresh the package metadata with "apt-get 
update". If that doesn't help, you'd have to contact xamarin (e.g. at 
their mono-dev list) as the http://download.mono-project.com/ repo is 
under their control and not debian's.
