Mozilla prefs .js config files for Epi & Galeon?

        Hi,

I just noticed during the User-Agent discussion that:
 - mozilla and firefox have /etc/ conf files with the possibility to
configure low-level tech details of the "mozilla engine",
 - galeon and epiphany have no /etc/ conf file, but use some
/usr/share/ defaults.js file, but they also have gconf (I don't know
whether gconf allows system wide configs, but it should :p).

I wonder if mozilla should document such variables or group them with
some level of interest for the user, but I mainly wonder whether
Epiphany and Galeon should provide a .js config file in /etc.

I talked about it with Galeon upstream, and they were reluctant to have
such a file because they think they expose enough via UI or GConf and
they would prefer not to suffer the burden of a new config file.

The question is here mainly for Jordi, but I'm interested of others'
 thoughts as well! :)

   bye,
