AFAIK, mozilla.org is not planning to do anything than security fixes on the
1.7.x and 1.0.x branch of mozilla/firefox,thunderbird. All features and bug
fixes should go the the HEAD development branch again. So maybe it is indeed
safe to set the depends to <1.8/<1.1?
