Hi,
It is not really worth to separate the composer from the browser,
because most of the composer is actually components that are part of the
browser and used by the browser, thus unseparatable. The rest is a bunch
of xul and javascript files that are bundled in comm.jar, which is the
browser jar file, so it's not easy to disociate. Even if it were, the
space you would gain would not be enough to justify a new package.
Things may change with the new composer, but it's unsure when it will be
1. available and 2. integrated.
In the meanwhile, I'll just tag this issue wontfix.
