Firefox and Thunderbird.

My apologies for bringing up such a touchy subject, but I need Firefox
and Thunderbird packages for debian with Firefox and Thunderbird branding.

I'm IT manager for a non-profit charitable organization with about 150
debian desktops currently using sarge. I want to upgrade to etch.
The problem that happens is people need to do web forms for various grants.
If they call in for support one of the first questions is what web
browser are you using. If they answer with iceweasel they reply, we can
hot help you. Next comes a sequence of emails from various government
agencies and us concerning why we are not using Windows. We can deal
with that but it wastes time and aggravation.
In the end they still will not provide support for our users.
Odds are if they say Firefox the operating system will never come up.
I personally use iceweasel under etch and I couldn't care less what the
name is.

There are many ways to deal with this. I need to maintain many desktops
and there are frequest updates because of vulnerabilities so real
packages are are the most rational way to maintain these applications.

I managed to build an iceweasel package with Firefox branding.
Unfrorchanly did not have any luch with thunderbird and the boss insists
that it be done also.
Also I'm concerned that my method of buildling packages could break in
the future.

Are there any procedures to build debian Firefox and Thunderbird branded
packages?
I suspect to keep are the dependencies satisfied need to keep iceweasel
and icedove package names.

Other choice is to switch to ubuntu or centos. I strongly prefer to
stick with Debian.

Thanks

John
