Package: iceape-mailnews
Version: 1.0.13~pre080323b-0etch1
Followup-For: Bug #473572
After security update to 1.0.13~pre080323b-0etch1 iceape-mailnews
is seriously broken. It refuses to send to any Outgoing SMTP server,
generating instead the error:
"Sending of message failed.
An error occurred sending mail: Unable to connect to SMTP server xxx.
The server may be down or may be incorrectly configured. Please verify
that your Mail/News account settings are correct and try again."
Tcpdump shows that iceape-mailnews generates the error before even
attempting to connect to the Outgoing SMTP server.
