For the build process, you need to know that most of the stuff is really
built in xulrunner. The iceweasel part is smaller, and put it simply,
(mostly) any change that is not in the browser subdirectory of the
upstream tarball is to be applied in xulrunner instead.

The xulrunner repository is not public yet, but should soon be, so you
will be able to clone it, branch it, and publish your own changes
somewhere so that they can be pulled, or send git-format-patch formatted
patches to this list (or the BTS, that might be better).

If any of the above is unclear or sounds unfamiliar because you're not
very used to debian package maintenance, please ask.

Anyways, as for the OpenSUSE patches are concerned, I'm following the
flow of patches on https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=528510

Testing these patches would be a good start.
