Bug#556428: exo-utils: Inconsistent behavior with latest Iceweasel

There is no reason for this to happen, except if you launch iceweasel
with a openurl command, which had some bugs before, and the behaviour
there may have changed in iceweasel 3.5.5-1.

Here, running iceweasel does open a new window. Have you tried disabling
extensions ?
