Bug#562970: iceweasel: Hourglass stays on when launched from GNOME panel

I can reproduce the problem with the following software installed:

ii  iceweasel			3.5.8-1
ii  libgnomeui-0		2.24.2-1
ii  libstartup-notification0	0.10-1


For what it's worth:  The bug is also reproducible using the iceweasel
backports, which use the following libs:

ii  libgnomeui-0		2.20.1.1-2
ii  libstartup-notification0	0.9-1



I can also reproduce this bug using KDE (as well as GNOME and xfce);
it's even easier to spot there, as KDE not only changes the mouse cursor
during startup but also the Icon in the taskbar ;)

PS:  Well, stable KDE with iceweasel backport that is; if there's
