Bug#597215: GIMP shouldn't be the default PDF viewer for Iceweasel

Package: iceweasel
Version: 3.6.9
Severity: Wishlist

I'm using KDE as a desktop environment and don't have Evince installed (I use Okular as a PDF viewer) and the default PDF viewer for Iceweasel in my case is GIMP, which is not a good choice... The ideal situation would be if Iceweasel used the default PDF viewer of the desktop environment in use (Evince for GNOME users and Okular for KDE users) as the default application for opening PDF files.
Of course, I know that I can change the application with which Iceweasel opens PDF documents, but there is a specific situation in which this setting is irrelevant. When you choose to always save the PDF files to disk rather than opening them with a PDF viewer, the file is being downloaded with Download Manager. If for some reason you want to view the just downloaded file, you have two options - navigate to the download directory using your file manager (not very convenient) or double-click on the file in the Download Manager window. If you wan't to do it quickly, you choose the second option and the download manager opens the downloaded file always using the default application (which is GIMP in my case).
