I followed http://www.debian-administration.org/articles/356 with
a few changes. The iceweasel "about:" page says:
Build identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686 on x86_64; rv:5.0)
Gecko/20100101 Firefox/5.0 Iceweasel/5.0
And I cannot reproduce the bug (still with the same French dictionary).
Note: I did that on a different machine, but the bug with the x86_64
version of iceweasel also occurs on this machine.
