I can confirm this bug in version 8.0-3+b1.

This behaviour is reproducible for me on just about every ebay page and
on many amazon.com pages, as previously reported usually in connection
with retrieving data from a third party (e.g. adfarm) with notification
"waiting for ads.blah.com...", sometimes with the notification
"javascript;;"

Retrieving the same pages in epiphany on the same system does not
exhibit this behaviour.
