Getting GPG signature verification error The following signatures were invalid: NODATA 1 NODATA 2

Dear Mike,
 Thank you. You are right. Seems there is some change there . I had
just put deb ./  although now it
seems it needs to be a version something also , quoting

"To use this archive, you need to add the following entry in
/etc/apt/sources.list or a new file in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/:

deb $release $pkg-$ver
The following values of $release and $pkg-$ver are supported:

$release	$pkg-$ver
Iceweasel 3.6 for lenny-backports	lenny-backports	iceweasel-3.6
Iceweasel 4.0 for experimental	experimental	iceweasel-4.0 "

which means I would have to do something like this .

 deb iceweasel-4.0

Doing the same now. Do not know whether the $sign is needed or not.
