I did no font selection, it's a fresh profile.

However, I have Wine installed which includes the Tahome font which the
web page selects and which is broken (eg. the same issue appears in
gedit when Tahoma is selected as the font used for the edited text).

Not sure what to do about that. This is a known issue with the Wine
Tahome font which remains unfixed.
