To reproduce the bug with gdm3 (where $XAUTHORITY changes across
X sessions):

1. Start iceweasel.
2. Type "killall -9 firefox-bin" to simulate a crash.
3. Log out.
4. Log in again.
5. Start iceweasel.

The result is that iceweasel doesn't start at step 5, and from a
terminal, it outputs:

No protocol specified
No protocol specified
Error: cannot open display: :0
