iceweasel frustration not defrustrated by latest release

hi:

I'm sorry to ask (and embarrased to have to ask), however..

I've just installed Debian sqeezy on a Dell T7400. Everything seems fine, except 
that iceweasel will not display some embedded videos. I've just installed the 
latest release from your site and.. more of the same.

Documentation seems somewhat behind - I can find nothing relevant.

.gconf looks ok, sources look ok, perms look ok, plugins are present/enabled. 
(Note: by "ok" I mean they seem sensibl;, not being a debian guy I could be 
looking at an absurdity or blank space where something should be, and not notice 
anything wrong.)

youtube videos work, foxnews videos do not. 

I'm a solaris guy, so I've looked for error logs but not yet found anything 
enlightening. This is probably something trivial but those are often the ones 
that cause the most hair loss...

Can you help? please?
