Just to confirm: With xulrunner 14 to 16, it indeed works if I use
xulrunner-bin (which is usually not in the shell's search path)
instead of xulrunner.

(Cc'ing the Conkeror mailing list to inform them about the current
state of the issue and this workaround.)
