Did someone get out of bed on the wrong side this morning or are you
always this scratchy?

Yes, I always do. However with this sort of thing it's very difficult
to decide which of a whole lot of packages is the relevant one. When
the same update affects two different applications the chances are it's
the common component.

Unfortunately, it's very difficult to see after an update what got
updated. Certainly both Iceweasel and Icedove *and lots of the
components of the spell checker* got updated in the last week or so.
Until one has worked out the exact cause of the bug, it makes sense to
at least start off the bug report with the most generic component.

You may well be correct in your re-assignment, but your people skills
need work.

That reminds me - I got flamed the last time I reported a bug in the
spell checker. I eventually tracked it down and fixed it myself, and
submitted the fix. Flaming users who don't have your intimate
familiarity with the interworking of a lot of closely-working components
is not however the best way to encourage this kind of assistance.
