beta and aurora: iceweasel doesn't load language packs from iceweasel-l10n-*

Hi,

I noticed it a while ago, it looks like iceweasel doesn't load language
packs from /usr/lib/iceweasel/extensions/ installed with the
iceweasel-l10n-* packages.
I could install it manually by entering
file:///usr/lib/iceweasel/extensions/langpack-fr@iceweasel.mozilla.org.xpiin
the address bar but it's not very convenient. Another workaround I am
currently using, is to create a symbolic link in
/usr/lib/iceweasel/browser/extensions/:

# ln -s /usr/lib/iceweasel/extensions/langpack-fr at iceweasel.mozilla.org.xpi/usr/lib/iceweasel/browser/extensions/

It works fine but again, I'm not a huge fan of those kind of "hacks".
Shouldn't iceweasel-l10n-* packages work out of the box?

Here are the versions of the packages I am currently using:
iceweasel 22.0~a2+20130412004014-1
iceweasel-l10n-fr 1:22.0~a2+20130412004014-1
xulrunner-22.0 22.0~a2+20130412004014-1
libmozjs22d 22.0~a2+20130412004014-1

Also tested with the current beta.
