Broken xulrunner package

Dear folks,

I'm trying to install Iceweasel on 32-bit Mint Linux 14 Nadia but it 
seems to be hanging up on the xulrunner package, which the Synaptic 
package manager tells me is broken (and offers your E-mail address).

When I first came across this problem, it was only up to v16.0, now up 
to v18.0, but all that changes is the version number in the error message:

"iceweasel : Depends: xulrunner-17.0 (>= 17.0.1-1~bpo60+1) but it is not 
going to be installed"

I tried to work around this by installing xulrunner independent of 
Iceweasel, but Synaptic says the package is broken.

Is this something you're aware of, and is there a solution in the works?
