Same problem when I tried to download the PDF file from

  http://www.ams.org/journals/mcom/2011-80-275/S0025-5718-2011-01880-6/home.html

using the iceweasel 21.0-1 Debian package. The backtrace is similar.

When I restarted Iceweasel and tried again several times, the problem
didn't occur: I got the "Opening <file.pdf>" window as expected.
