Bug#703587: libnss3 update disables some (self signed) certs (with Icedove)

I have some additional information: The error messages in detail.

The Icedove error message when StartTLS is selected is:
The IMAP server <accountname> does not support the selected 
authentication method.
Please change the 'Authentication method' in the 'Account Settings | 
Server Settings'.

With SSL/TLS (port 993) selected, it times out.

The IMAP server (Courier-IMAPD) error message is (from syslog):
Mar 21 06:44:37 ant imapd-ssl: couriertls: accept: error:14094412:SSL 
routines:SSL3_READ_BYTES:sslv3 alert bad certificate
