Version: 20.0-1
Severity: wishlist
Dear Maintainer,
Not sure I am doing this right, but I would like the "BEREC-button" to be a part of debian and iceweasel (and other debian browsers too of course). The BEREC-button is called "PTS-knappen" in Sweden.
The BEREC-button creates a mail that you can send to your national Regulatory Authority (NRA) to inform them about a website's unlawful use of cookies.
In Sweden the NRA is called Post- och Telestyrelsen (PTS) and the BEREC button is therefore called "PTS-knappen".
The code for iceweasel is here: https://github.com/torholm/pts
BEREC, the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications, was created in 2009 by the Telecoms Package. It is supposed to oversee the functioning of the internet and that laws are followed.
Best regards.
//Erik
