Hello,

As you probably know, ia64 is no longer part of the maintained
architecture in Debian.
So, I am not sure we want to put too much effort in the ia64 package.

However, I see two solutions:
* you prepare the patch for the 24 package and the maintainer might
include it.
* you use a more recent version of firefox:
http://mozilla.debian.net/
