Package: iceweasel-dev
Version: 38.4.0esr-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

My system is arch amd64 and I want to install iceweasel-dev:i386. But there
are dependency problems.

This is what I get:
"""
$ LANG=C sudo aptitude install iceweasel-dev:i386
The following NEW packages will be installed:
  iceweasel-dev:i386{b} libnspr4-dev:i386{a} libnss3-dev:i386{a}
0 packages upgraded, 3 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
Need to get 5578 kB of archives. After unpacking 42.9 MB will be used.
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 iceweasel-dev:i386 : Depends: python-ply:i386 which is a virtual package and
is not provided by any available package.

The following actions will resolve these dependencies:

     Keep the following packages at their current version:
1)     iceweasel-dev:i386 [Not Installed]

Accept this solution? [Y/n/q/?]
"""

  Result is the same when using apt-get

Notes:
  - I have already added i386 architecture to my system
  - iceweasel:i386 is already installed
