Why is there no more release version of Firefox on Wheezy ?

I am a user the release version of Firefox on Wheezy. But, since the version 48, there is no more release version on mozilla.debian.net, except for Jessie.

Is there a reason to no more publish the release version ?

Shall I get back from the 47.0.1-1~bpo70+1 to the 45.3.0esr-1~deb7u1 ?
