firefox will no longer start up for me. It repeatedly crashes. I can't start
it in safe-mode. And even telling it to start with ProfileManager doesn't
work. The problem doesn't appear to be profile related. When I start it from
the command line, I get the following output before receiving the error popup:

Sorry. Firefox had a problem and crashed. We'll try to restore your tabs and
windows when it restarts. To help us diagnose and fix the problem, you can send
us a crash report. . ."

Hi, after upgrade of Wheezy, I have exactly the same problem of a dozen of our
computer at my work. I transmit my output that is a little bit different.

(firefox-esr:18875): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_widget_get_toplevel: assertion
`GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed
ExceptionHandler::GenerateDump cloned child 18961
ExceptionHandler::SendContinueSignalToChild sent continue signal to child
ExceptionHandler::WaitForContinueSignal waiting for continue signal...
[Child 18946] ###!!! ABORT: Aborting on channel error.: file /build/firefox-
esr-52.2.0esr/ipc/glue/MessageChannel.cpp, line 2152

That happen also with all extentions stopped and reinitialised profile.

I hope a fix very soon as Firefox is totally unusable. For that reason I
suggest to mark the bug as important.

Thank you.
