Some more news on this topic:<br>
1) I did a complete new install with the actual wheezy release yesterday (2013-01-23) the same way I did it 2 weeks ago.<br>

2) Iceweasel is NOT freezing anymore - its working as expected on the websites (<a href="http://www.bild.de">www.bild.de</a>)<br>

Assumption what the problem was:<br>

3) After the previous installation of the amd64 bit wheezy, I wanted to have the 32-bit package support and did:<br>
"dpkg --add-architecture i386"<br>
"aptitude update"<br>
"aptitude install ia32-libs"<br>
"aptitude install ia32-libs-gtk"<br>
<br>
4) I also did a <br>
"aptitude install icedtea...-plugin"<br>
<br>
What version of "icedtea..." had been installed, the 32bit or the 64bit ?<br>
<br>
If I do "dpkg --add-architecture i386", will this install 32-bit software or 64-bit software ?<br>
<br>
I am using "synaptic" as package-manager.<br>
