      <p><span class=arial>Dear Colleagues,<br><br>I am pleased to invite you to 
      the International Conferences organized in November 27-30, 2013 in 
      Valletta-MALTA. <br>11th International Conference on Knowledge, 
      Economy and Management (ICKEM2013) brings together various 
      researchers of the information revolution in academia and industry, 
      engineers and social scientists or scholars and graduate students to 
      exchange and share their experiences and research results about all 
      aspects of Knowledge, Economy and Management, and to discuss challenges 
      encountered and solutions adopted.<br>The Conference has a very special 
      place as it is one of the very few continuous conferences regularly held 
      in this areas. <br>The conference has teamed up with the 
      International Journal of Knowledge Economy and Knowledge 
      Management (The JKEM)  for publishing a Special Journal Issue on 
      Knowledge Economy and Knowledge Management .<br>Please note that the

      <p class=arial><strong>PAPER SUBMISSION DATES:</strong> <br>Abstract 
      submission deadline for early registration: August 15, 2013<br>Early 
      registration deadline: August 30, 2013<br>Camera-ready submission deadline 
      for accepted abstracts: October 20, 2013<br>Abstract submission deadline 
      for late registration: September 15, 2013<br>Payment deadline of 
      Conference fees: October 30, 2013<br>Notification of congress final 
      program: November 05, 2013 </p>
      <p class=arial><strong>TYPES of SUBMISSIONS:</strong> <br>Submissions 
      should be made to one or more of the following categories, and all 
      submissions will be subjected to blind peer review process.<br><u>Refereed 
      Papers</u> (full papers): Should be submitted as a full 
      publishable manuscript with empirical findings, or conceptual/qualitative 
      research articles. After acceptance, the full refereed papers should be 
      formatted properly with no more than 4,000 words. All accepted papers will 
      be published in the refereed conference 
      Proceedings.<br><u>Work-in-Progress Papers</u>: Please submit an 
      extended summary of your proposal/paper in no more than 1,000 words. These 
      papers will be scheduled for presentation, and the abstracts will be 
      included in the conference program. Work-in-progress (WIP) papers could be 
      proposed conceptual framework based on extensive literature reviews, or 
      research in progress papers with partial results. <br><u>Virtual or 
      Poster Paper:</u> We understand that some presenters will be unable 
      to make the trip to Malta to present their paper, mainly due to financial 
      and/or political restrictions on travel. ICKEM 2013 has therefore 
      instituted a virtual or poster papers to allow the authors of accepted 
      proposals the same publication opportunities as regular 
      presenters.<br><u>Panel Organizer(s)</u>: Panels should have at least 
      five participants (including the chair). Panel organizers are responsible 
      for the arrangement of all the presenters under their proposed topics, and 
      should ensure that all are firmly committed. If your proposal is accepted 
      you will be invited to register for the conference. Panel organizer is 
      free for registration fee.<br><strong>Conference 
      Languages:</strong>  English & Turkish (Simultaneous 
      translation is available)</p>
