-Yep, exactly that's the case. sarge uses Perl 5.8.1 and woody 5.6.1, 
-obviously with different and incompatible Storable versions. Storable is
-used to serialize the objects sent over the network which control the 
-cluster control daemon.

-Gerald: either you downgrade Storable on the sarge machine or you 
-upgrade Storable on your woody machine. I'd suggest installing the 
-up-/downgraded version to a different location and point PERL5LIB to it
-before starting dvd::rip (GUI resp. master). Maybe other Perl modules 
-rely on the shipped Storable version so overwriting it system wide could
-be evil.
