    Update control file.
    
    It is good VCS practice to commit changes to auto-updated files
    separately from hand-coded files.  That way it is easier to later revert
    a change or cherry-pick between branches.
    
    So when control.in files is used, the semi-automatically updated control
    file should preferrably be committed separately.  Not necessarilly each
    and every time a change is made to the .in file - it is enough to do it
    right before a packaging release.
    
    (now I do it more frequently, just for brevity)
