+pd-iemmatrix for Debian
+-----------------------
+
+Unlike the upstream sources which install all Pd-abstractions from the iemmatrix library
+to the top of /usr/lib/pd/extra, this package installs those abstractions (together with the
+help patches and the binary files) to the subfolder /usr/lib/pd/extra/iemmatrix.
+
+This has implications in that one has to make sure to add the path '/usr/lib/pd/extra/iemmatrix'
+to Pd's search paths. The same could be achieved by using a [declare -stdpath extra/iemmatrix] 
+inside the patch calling iemmatrix objects. 
+
+In order to enable the full library for your patch, use:
+[declare -stdlib extra/iemmatrix -stdpath extra/iemmatrix]
