Hi,
I've written this patch which greatly improves the responsiveness of mutt by
allowing interruptions during various read/write operations. Please consider it
experimental, even if it's submitted in our git repo, as the mutt code does not
correctly handle interrupted reads/writes.

Feel free to build mutt from HEAD and test ctrl+C on networking reads/writes
(for example if IMAP gets stuck), it should work but there are still a couple of
situations where it doesn't.

I'll have another run at the patch in the coming days.
