Daniel,
On a related note the versioning for the ivtv-modules seems to be
different depent on the way you build them.
For example from the conglomeration module package we have the following:
ivtv-modules 2.6.18+0.8.2-4+etch1
But if you build by hand using modules-assistant and ivtv-source you get
ivtv-modules 0.10.1-1+2.6.18.dfsg.1-12
Thus in one package the kernel version is coming first, in the second the
modules package are coming first, which leads to this situation:
ivtv-modules-2.6.18-4-686/etch upgradeable from 0.10.1-1+2.6.18.dfsg.1-12
to 2.6.18+0.8.2-4+etch1
Where the system thinks a downgrade is actually an upgrade :-(
I presume that the conglomeration module packages are all pre-defined this
way, so we should change the outcome of a modules-assistant build in our
ivtv-source pacakage?
Mark
