MythTV includes (or did at the time I maintained it) a copy of ffmpeg, which
was at one point not permitted into Debian.  It is included now, but I am
not aware of the reasons for its exclusion, nor the changes which took place
in order for it to be allowed.  Just something to check into when
considering MythTV.
