Hi Ian,
Thanks for the response...
Sorry, I should have said, I tried this already:
root at simba:~# apt-get install liblame-dev
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
E: Couldn't find package liblame-dev
Also, my /etc/apt/source.list appears:
# See sources.list(5) for more information, especialy
# Remember that you can only use http, ftp or file URIs
# CDROMs are managed through the apt-cdrom tool.
# Debian Etch
deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian etch main contrib non-free
deb-src http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian etch main contrib non-free
# Debian Etch Updates
deb http://security.debian.org/ etch/updates main contrib non-free
deb-src http://security.debian.org/ etch/updates main contrib non-free
# Beryl
deb http://debian.beryl-project.org etch main
deb-src http://debian.beryl-project.org etch main
# Kanotix Thorhammer
deb http://kanotix.com/files/thorhammer ./
deb-src http://kanotix.com/files/thorhammer ./
# Acritox
deb http://acritox.de/debian ./
deb-src http://acritox.de/debian ./
# Debian multi-media stuff
deb-src http://www.debian-multimedia.org sid main
Is this correct?
Thanks again,
- Chris
