You're correct. Thanks a lot. The new packages of ivtvdev fix this
problem.

This email should reassign the bug from ivtv-source to
xserver-xorg-video-ivtv.

Thanks for the warning, but I don't use mythtv at all. Normally I use only
the TVout to run a second Xserver there (and redirect videos to my 
television).
