[Pkg-mythtv-maintainers] Bug#448893: Ping?

Have any decisions been made about how this will be handled?
Etch-and-a-half is fast approaching, and the new ivtv drivers in
mainline 2.6.24 is the main reason I'm interested in that upgrade in the
first place.

One possible alternative that I haven't seen mentioned yet would be to
ignore the problem in main, and upload a backport of the testing version
of ivtv-utils to either volatile or backports.org.
