Starting network management services: snmpd snmptrapd.
[hangs here, after a while I press Ctrl+C]
dpkg: error processing snmpd (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script killed by signal (Interrupt)
I then opened the snmpd.postinst and saw that it hangs after the exit 0.
Trying to avoid debconf hanging it, I added >&2 to the init script calls,
to no avail. Something inside the init script left file descriptors open.
Adding a db_stop after the init script stuff worked around the problem.
Notice that I have the trapd enabled, so it's probable that snmpd is okay,
but snmptrapd isn't, but fewer people noticed it because it's not enabled
Please fix this. TIA.
