[Pkg-net-snmp-devel] Bug#496845: Net-SNMP/agentx issue

Package: Net-SNMP

The Net-SNMP package as distributed by debian breaks the agentx
standard protocol for unix systems. Debian contains a specific patch to
Net-SNMP which changes the AgentX listening socket away from
/var/agentx/master to /var/run/agents

I understand the rational behind wanting to go to a FHS specific path
(supposedly bug 120015 talks about this), but 3rd party agentx
applications which are following the IETF defined standard will break
because of the deviation from the IETF standard.

See RFC2741 Section 8.2.1 which defines the standard path as
/var/agentx/master.
