Are there any news about that? Did anybody have a look at the patch? It
might make sense to forward the issue upstream (if that did not happen
already) if you don't want to take care of it yourself.

This bug currently blocks a fix for #538795 which seriously limits the
functionality of parts of collectd (namely the "sensors" plugin) since I
cannot build-depend on libsensors4-dev and libsnmp-dev at the same time,
because libsnmp-dev depends on libsensors-dev which, in turn, conflicts
with libsensors4-dev.

I've raised the severity to normal, since this bug has a negative
influence on other software. I'm not sure about the status of the
transition from libsensors3 to libsensors4, so I don't know if a higher
severity would be appropriate as well.
