Package: snmpd
Version: 5.4.3~dfsg-2.4
Severity: normal
Hi,
installing snmpd in a test chroot. syslog entries:
May 16 20:27:31 salida snmpd[10279]: /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf: line 101: Error: Can't open /etc/mtab (setmntent)#012
May 16 20:27:31 salida kernel: snmpd[10279]: segfault at 0 ip 00007fcaf8338799 sp 00007fff8dcd7ee0 error 4 in libnetsnmpmibs.so.15.1.2[7fcaf82e2000+13c000]
Segfaulting on non-existing files is bad bad bad. ;-)
Greetings
Marc
