Package: snmpd
Version: 5.7.3+dfsg-1.7
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

SNMPDOPTS in /etc/default/snmpd is ignored.

This is because the options are hardcoded in /lib/systemd/system/snmpd.service

The line:
  ExecStart=/usr/sbin/snmpd -Lsd -Lf /dev/null -u Debian-snmp -g Debian-snmp -I -smux,mteTrigger,mteTriggerConf -f

Should be:
  EnvironmentFile=/etc/default/snmpd
  ExecStart=/usr/sbin/snmpd $SNMPDOPTS -f
